The back deck at Mama's house when I woke up this morning.
The front yard.
Ignore the fact that I look like a total doofus. My ears were FREEZING!!
Overall, Toby was pretty unimpressed by the snow - although he did seem to like the way it felt on his tongue.
The strangest, biggest-headed snow man I've ever seen!!
We really enjoyed the weather today, but I decided that I definitely could not live somewhere where it snows all the time. I hate wet, soggy shoes. (I guess I could wear snow boots?) By early afternoon, the sun broke through and things melted pretty quickly. It was fun while it lasted!

Isn't it great to have snow in the South? I love the snowman! I enjoyed it from inside, but there wasn't that much. Looks like you, Chase, and Dan had a great time building yours.
Hope you had a good weekend and have a great week.

Hey, that's me in the pic with Dan and Chase. I did the bottom, Dan did the middle and Chase built that HUGH head, Heather just took the picture.
We had a blast.

yuck snow. here in ohio its just cold. really cold. cant wait till spring. stay warm people.
Good seeing you this afternoon!! That is my new favorite picture of Toby.
Cute snowman!
I woke up to something very similar. Piles of drifting snow!
Oh and by the way, I gave you an award on my blog. Come and see!
It looks like you guys had so much fun! Well, except for the soggy shoes part! You know, I've never built a snowman before...
Some snow, huh? Welcome to my world . . . now try that for 6 straight months, mixed in with many days of below zero temps . . . you've got fun!! Glad you guys had a great time! I loved the snowman, and the pics too!
I heard you guys got some interesting weather :D
I saw a picture of the White House being all white and everything. I guess Gordon Brown and Obama will have a snowball fight on the visit. :P
Love the pics! The snowman is kind of built like me!
You know you're too involved with what's going on with your blog friend's lives when one of the first things you think about when you hear it snowed in Alabama is "I wonder if it snowed where Heather lives?"
Look at your little snow storm!!
Our weathermen freaked out, school, government and state offices were closed. We ended up getting nothing. So sad!
Oh well.. I say it's perfect living down here. You get your snow, it melts by the end of the day, and by the next weekend it's in the 70s!
Well, here in Colorado it was 72 and continued dry. No snow that has amounted to anything anywhere on the plains this winter. At least the mountains got some.
Oh, I wish the sun would come out and melt it all away here!
Well, at least you don't get it all the time! I so want that front yard! I love swings like that! And keeping your head covered is the most important part. Love that snowman! He is pretty darn big!
We got snow today too -- hubby didn't have to go to work! woo-hoo!
