I accept cash, checks and money orders...

Weekly writing assignment from Mama Kat: If I sent you four hundred dollars today what is ONE thing you would spend it on and why? P.S. I want my change.

With the wonderfully warm, beautiful days of summer just around the corner, I can think of one thing in particular that would make my backyard absolutely divine:

What’s that you say? $400 won’t buy me Matthew McConaughey? Not even for a few hours? Well, fine.

I’ll settle for a hammock:

This little piece of pillow-top heaven would make the perfect weekend retreat. I can see myself curled up with my Kindle, soaking up the sun as I read. Or I could put it in the shade and let the warm summer breeze gently rock me into a relaxing, afternoon nap.

And Kat, this comfortable little gem is only $359, so you’ll be getting back a little bit of change, just as you requested. Now, if you’d be so kind as to send me my money.

I’ll be waiting…

I totally thought Kathy said $100, not $400. That might change my idea for a post. I could do something with $400... $100? Not so much.

I tell you what, if we go in together, do you think we could get the delicious MM for $800?

I like the hammock, though. I want me a hammock. So I can be even LAZIER than I am now. As if.

I want a pic of you getting in and out of the hammock! A shot with you and Matt would be cute too!

Hammock looks so nice, but Matthew does look cozier!! Fun post. I want to run out and buy a hammock. If only I could put it in my living room...

I think this is greatest use for $400 ... I mean, not as good as having Matthew (but I heard he doesn't use deodo so he probably smells).

Ah yes, a hammock would be a great way to spend $400! One of my very favorite pieces of furniture EVER was my great-grandmother's front porch swing... man that thing was awesome. :-)

Also, I wanted to ask you to please tell your mom I loved her comment on my post from a few days ago! There's no way that I know of to e-mail you, or e-mail her, but I really appreciated it a ton! And I've been working on planning out my backyard gardening ideas (so help me, I have the brownest thumb EVER, haha). Fun stuff!

Interesting that you would buy a hammock. I think I would get this gadget that I saw on Oprah a while ago called a Kendall. It stores digital books. It would save me so much space. I would have to pay for the taxes because it costs $400.

I don't know about Matthew Mc though. He's all about nudity all the time. I don't know if I could handle it:)

Ooh! I want one! I'd have to put it in the front yard, though. No shade in the back. Of course in my neighborhood, no one would care.

I'm not sure the hammock is worth it without matthew...surely it would be a disappointment...maybe buy a slightly cheaper hammock and spend the rest of the money blowing up and laminating a pic of matthew to put by the hammock, then when dozing off on lazy sunny days, you might wake turn to him and for that split second think he's there..no??? totally worth it...i wonder if my husband would mind he having one of those by my bed???

Heather...hilarious post! Just an observer here...can't really identify with the Matthew thing! How do you like your kindall? I was thinking about getting one. Still sort of expensive I think...however when you consider it is for lifetime internet access though Amazon...it becomes more attractive.

Sounds great to me, even without the addition of a handsome movie star, (deodorant or not)! We have a rope hammock but it molds when we leave it outside... :(

I talk a lot too, so we should get along well. I like open people.

Thanks for leaving such a nice comment on my blog! :)

There have been times of hardship when I didn't know about opportunities of getting high yields on investments. I was a dump and downright pessimistic person.
I have never thought that there weren't any need in large starting capital.
Nowadays, I'm happy and lucky , I started take up real income.
It's all about how to select a proper companion who utilizes your funds in a right way - that is incorporate it in real business, and shares the income with me.

You can get interested, if there are such firms? I'm obliged to answer the truth, YES, there are. Please be informed of one of them:
